Jacob Patterson is the Executive Director at Think Tank Gallery in Los Angeles' Fashion District. Patterson and four friends moved into this warehouse space in 2010 and built on of L.A.'s most vibrant D.I.Y. artist communities. Seventeen artists had been living there illegally, and after the deadly Ghost Ship fire in Oakland, L.A. forced Think Tank to close down. The communities is finding news ways to put on art shows. Their first show after the closing took place in McArthur Park's Swap Meet.
