Jacob Patterson is the Executive Director at Think Tank Gallery in Los Angeles' Fashion District. Patterson and four friends moved into this warehouse space in 2010 and built one of L.A.'s most vibrant D.I.Y. artist communities. Seventeen artists had been living there illegally, but after the deadly Ghost Ship fire in Oakland, L.A. forced Think Tank to close down. The community is finding new ways to put on art shows.
