Someone learned how to develop film 🎞🤗

Rowena Chiu has been keeping her #MeToo story about Harvey Weinstein to herself for 21 years.

On Oct. 5, Chiu published an op-ed in the @nytimes in which she came forward and described how Weinstein had allegedly attempted to rape her and what she endured mentally, emotionally and professionally for decades afterwards.
Yesterday afternoon, Chiu and I walked around her complex taking portraits of her in the late afternoon light for @PaloAltoOnline reporter Elena Kadvany’s (@lenak21) story on Chiu, a Palo Alto resident. Kadvany spoke with Chiu about mental health, why she spoke out and the barriers she faced in doing so.
“I thought very long and hard about, do I want this to be my legacy?" Chiu said in an interview with the Weekly. "I'm not a famous actress. I'm not Gwyneth Paltrow. I'm not Ashley Judd. Do I want for the rest of my life when I put my name into Google to have my name synonymous with that of my attempted rapist? That's a big burden to carry."
