There is a director yelling, "Action!" as two anchors stand in front of a green screen reading from teleprompters and producers have their eyes glued to computer screens.
But this isn't a professional news studio. This one is tucked away in the back of a classroom in Menlo Park's Hillview Middle School. The only adult present is broadcast teacher Brian Darmanin, who once worked on CNN's "Crossfire". The entire crew is made up of his sixth-, seventh- and eighth- grade students.
